About Aziza Miller

Aziza Miller, formerly known as Linda Williams is a  composer. pianist. lyricist and music educator. She is a native New Yorker and has a master degree in music education and a bachelor degree in theory. Aziza taught vocal music and theory in the nyc public schools for about 20 years. 

Aziza is a two time Grammy award winning musician, the recipient of the Presidential Scholar Distinguished Teacher Award, The Arthur Miller Foundation Award and the YANY(Young Audiences of New York) Award for excellence in Arts Education. Aziza was Alcica Key's high school vocal music and theory teacher at PPAS and the on stage featured pianist in Alicia's hit Broadway musical Hell's Kitchen.

Aziza Miller(Linda Williams), as she was previously known in the music industry, was Natalie Cole's first female Musical director, orchestra conductor and pianist. Together, she and Natalie co-wrote one of Natalie's biggest and most popular hits called "La Costa". Aziza wrote the music and Natalie wrote the lyrics. "La Costa" has been re-recorded by artists such as Najee, featuring vocalist Regina Belle, Buddy Williams, featuring Will Downing, Actress and singer Vanessa Williams, Ahmad Jamal and Pete Escovedo to name a few.

Other music collaborations have included Richard Evans(Capricorn Rising), Ahmad Jamal (Picture Perfect, Whisperings and My Latin),Ray Bryant (One Fine Day), Tommy Turrentine(Big Brown Eyes), MIlton Sealy(Whose been loving you)
